Athletic participation at Huron High School is a privilege. When a student
chooses to participate in athletics, s/he voluntarily elects a course of
self-discipline that is part of team membership. The school can revoke or restrict the
privilege of participation if a student fails to live up to the expectations
and standards that are outlined in the following policies.
In all cases of suspension, student’s
parents/guardians will be notified within a reasonable amount of time. If a
student wishes to appeal a suspension to the Athletic Director or
subsequently to the Principal, they may do so via the Ann Arbor Public
Schools.
