ESL courses are designed for students whose first language is not English. The courses emphasize listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and culture.

There is specific instruction and practice based on the language level of individual ESL students.

Qualification: District eligibility guidelines. Eligibility may be determined standardized testing or teacher recommendation.
