FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES
2010-11
Each year the Huron Athletic Booster Club must raise general administrative funds to support the following activities that benefit all teams:
To accomplish these goals, the Athletic Booster Club must raise money independent of the funds raised by each sports team. The following are Booster Club fundraising initiatives for 2010-2011 academic year.
MEMBERSHIP
During the Fall we ask our team representatives to encourage all families to Join the Booster Club. This is our number one program to raise funds for the general Booster Club account that benefits all Huron teams.
ANNUAL GOLF OUTING
We look forward to seeing you at our Golf Outing in 2011.
CONCESSIONS / SPIRIT SHOP
These programs continue to be the main source of financial support for the Booster Club. Profits from the Spirit Shop go into our general Booster Club account. Individual sports teams and the host teams earn money from the concession programs.
BRICK PROGRAM
If your family has not already purchased a brick in the River Rat Walk of Fame, please encourage them to do so. The Brick Walk of Fame is located inside the Riverbank Stadium. An additional Brick Walk Plaza was added in Fall 2008 which complements the original area. Profits from the Brick Program go into our general Booster Club account. PHONE-A-THON
Our annual student-athlete led Phone-a-thon fundraiser that raises principal for the Huron Athletic Endowment Fund. Last year's Phone-a-thon was held November 9-12, 2009. It was a huge success again with many student-athletes working the phones for donations. This year's Endowment campaign will be a direct mail program taking place in November 2010. Please be generous in your support for the future of the Huron Athletic Programs.
ARTISTS MARKET & CRAFTS SHOW
This annual event is held in the Huron Dome gym with an average of over 100 artists displaying their products. The next show will be held in 2011.
ADVERTISING SIGN PROGRAM
The Booster Club is excited to offer the opportunity to participate in the Advertising Sign Display program. Our outdoor sign program allows teams to sell advertising signs for display at any of the Huron outdoor athletic facilities. Contact ?? for additional information
