The Career Resource Center offers......

- There are numerous publications and videos in the Career Resource Center that contain facts on a particular college's majors, admission criteria, test requirements, enrollment, location, costs, curriculum, financial aid, etc. In addition, books are available that contain information on the occupation outlook for various careers.
- Utilize the Michgian Occupational Information System (MOIS). This system allows students to explore various interests and related occupations and careers. It also will allow students to review colleges in Michigan that offer degrees in those career areas.
- College admissions personnel are scheduled at Huron High School throughout the school year. Check the calendar posted outside the Career Resource Center regularly to see who is scheduled to visit. Students may obtain a pass from their teacher or counselor to visit with the representative. If students have applied to a particular college, they should make contact with the visiting representative.
- The Career Resource Center has college catalogs for in-state colleges and universities and many out-of-state universities and colleges.
- Utilize the various software programs that are available in the Career Resource Center. Programs on college selection, scholarships, testing, getting ready for college as well as college-specific programs are available to view or check out.
- Applications for Michigan colleges and universities and many out-of-state college and universities can be found in the Career Resource Center.
- Summer programs for high school students to explore week-long or summer-long workshops, internships, and work-related opportunities are kept on file in the Career Resource Center.
- Test registration materials for the SAT 1, ACT, and SAT II are kept in the Center, along with additional score report request forms. Information is available on test preparation programs which students may wish to pursue.
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) applications and scholarship information can be found in the Career Resource Center.
