Faculty Committee

The Faculty Committee is composed of members who are elected by the faculty at large. Purpose of the Faculty Committee - Evaluation of Role:
1.	To make recommendations to the principal concerning the policies and procedures of the school. These recommendations may go directly to the principal or, of appropriate, may be taken to the faculty as a whole for discussion and broader support before going to the principal.
2.	To plan and implement special events, especially staff development sessions. The Faculty Committee may work independently or with the PTSO, Student Council or administration.
3.	To recommend ongoing committees and activities to solve or prevent problems which affect the faculty members and thus school climate (e.g., The Faculty Support Team).
