Current Courses:
Computer Applications I and IIComputer Applications I and II are two 20 week courses that have been designed to prepare students for college as well as for employment. Instruction is based on the latest technology and its applications in the business world. Lessons are hands-on, computer oriented, and outcome driven. Students experience a wide variety of business skills like word processing, spreadsheets and databases in addition to gaining keyboarding speed and accuracy. Utilizing real world situations, approximately 10 different core competencies are developed in foundation and common skill areas.
Visual Basic ProgrammingThis course is an introduction to programming in Visual Basic. Programming is an exciting challenge. You will actually be learning how to write a program, instead of just running a program that somebody else wrote for you! We are currently using Visual Basic 6.0 for this course!
Accounting I and IIWhat is Accounting? "Something to do with money?"...That’s what most students say when I ask them that question. It’s my job this semester to provide you with a better answer! Basically accounting has to do with planning, recording, analyzing and interpreting financial information. In this class we will spend time breaking this down and seeing what it means in the real world.
