We are honored to serve you at Huron High School during the 2011-12 school year! My name is Jason Gold. I am one of three school liaison officer's (City of Ann Arbor Police Officer's) for the Ann Arbor Public Schools. We service a student population of 16,000 plus students and a staff population of nearly 1200. The three comprehensive high schools have an officer on-site daily for the primary purpose of safety and security of our students, staff and visitors. The school liaison officer's respond to all schools for service. I have been proudly serving the Huron family and feeder schools since the 2007-08 school year. A typical day is interacting with students, staff, parents, and visitors for a variety of reasons concerning education, counseling, safety, security and law enforcement. I look forward to building lasting relationships, teaching & learning, and creating a safe and secure for optimal learning.
